Our industry leading technology, the Avery Weigh-Tronix Weigh Bar, was born on the farm and is specifically designed to withstand the tough conditions of the farm environment. Environmental seals and coatings protect against rain, snow, dust and mud. Weigh Bars are engineered using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and constructed to handle the toughest jobs. All these features add up to years of precise, trouble-free operation.

Pre-calibrated

All our Weigh-Bars are pre-calibrated. When used with Avery Weigh- Tronix indicators, no test weights are required so accurate weighing is obtained straight out of the box.

Design

The Avery Weigh-Tronix team of engineers is fully equipped with the most up-to-date development tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). Construction

The Weigh Bar is machined from high quality alloy steel in our modern machine shop. After the machined bar has been thoroughly cleaned, strain gages are applied in a controlled environment using an epoxy which is then oven cured. Interconnect wires, and the scale interface cable is then professionally soldered to the gages. The gages and solder joints are then completely sealed with an aerospace- developed sealant. After the bar passes a series of tests, a steel shield is slid over the entire gage area on all bending beams and completely filled with a potting compound to provide rugged, long lasting protection against the elements. Other companies have built copycats, but the Weigh Bar remains unmatched in terms of accuracy, reliability, and performance under difficult agricultural conditions.

All Avery Weigh-Tronix agricultural products are backed by a minimum 3 year warranty. Avery Weigh-Tronix is ISO-9001 certified and performs regular audits of the established standards. All Weigh-Bars are individually tested to our specified standards during final assembly.
